The Situation

Royal Nandhana was opening an Andhra-style multicuisine restaurant on the state highway near Dodaballapur — a location that runs entirely on floating traffic. No neighbourhood, no regulars, no word of mouth to rely on. Every customer would be a stranger making a split-second decision at speed. The brief was an end-to-end brand before a single table was set.

The Truth We Uncovered

Highway restaurants don't win on ambiance or reviews — they win on immediate recognition and trust. A traveller choosing where to stop has two seconds and one question: do I know what this place is? The brand couldn't be decorative. It had to communicate 'authentic Andhra cuisine, worth stopping for' before the car even slowed down.

What We Built

A complete identity system rooted in Andhra's visual heritage — warm, confident, and immediately readable. The wordmark was designed for legibility at distance first. Menu design prioritised fast decision-making: clear hierarchy, no clutter. A high-visibility highway signage board — the most critical piece — designed and spec'd for fabrication. Takeaway packaging and flyers for distribution at nearby toll booths completed the system.

The Outcome

Royal Nandhana became a recognised stop on the Dodaballapur highway. The success was substantial enough that the owner is opening a second location — Royal Navami — and returned to Bysomeone to build that brand from scratch.
